FAO-INIT Collaboration
INIT in pursuit of its commitment of enhancing the outreach of educational initiatives using ICTs was successful in cementing a mutually beneficial partnership with E-learning center of Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations (FAO).
The E-learning center of FAO is world renowned in terms of online course development catering towards pressing issues pertaining towards marginalized communities developing countries.
Currently there are around sixty one (61) courses spanned over nineteen (19) categories developed in partnership from forty one (41) international organizations.
The course participants are awarded a certificate of completion issued by the FAO E-learning centers bearing the labels of the reputed organizations that facilitated in the development of the course.
The FAO-INIT collaboration enables our members to benefit not only from the wide array of courses from the FAO E-learning center but INIT plans to launch a dedicated stream of courses catered towards the regional needs of its various member states.
